Prophecy for 2012 - Apocalypse sceptic?

>
>

If you're a skeptic 2012 which is quite understandable. Any intelligent person would. After all, it is not the first doomsday theory you've heard it? I shall now discuss the prophecy of the apocalypse in 2012.

At first glance one might dismiss each theory doomsday without even research all the. This is understandable, given hundreds of doomsday theories have been in the past where it is clear that nothing happened. See the "doomsday theory" was the theory of the year 2000. However, this wasn't really a doomsday theory. You probably know this, but Y2K was in fear of old computers malfunction because they were not programmed to handle dates beyond 1999.

The thing about December 21, 2012 is that there are several predictions for the end of the world have all revolve around the same date. This said, good number of these use this exact date because of the Mayan calendar ending this day here. This is an example Timewave Zero, which is a piece of software that predicts the time stop on December 21, 2012. Originally Timewave Zero predicts the end of time in November 2012, but later, the writer made some changes in his book The Invisible Landscape, where he wrote that the deadline was exactly 21 December 2012.

There are several silly 2012 theories, like giant foreign big coming from Earth on a fire, planet earth being sucked into the black hole, a huge meteorite colliding with Earth and many others. The thing is if some of the 2012 predictions hold a share of truth.

Surviving the Apocalypse 2012 Hype

Signs of the Apocalypse 2012 are numerous. A detailed explanation is given below.
Maya calendars which said that being the end more specific calendars for year 2012. It is expected that the end of the calendar, a new age will start from zero, meaning the end of life. Maya followed mainly three calendars. a solar calendar, which was long 365 days and a Saint calendar was 260 days long. These two calendars in sync every 52 years. They also followed a long account calendar. This calendar long account started in Colombia - British 3114 and will soon be at an end; It is supposed to bring great destruction to life on the planet.

2012 will be a very interesting year. The United States will be a presidential election. Worldwide, elections will also take place in France, the Mexico and Ireland. Freedom Tower will be completed in New York. Olympic Games summer will take place in London, England. New probe Orion the expected to be completed and begin to support missions to the International Space Station.

However, for many, the most anticipated and promoted event in 2012 be the end of the world as we know it. The end of the crowd of Y2K world back. Since everyone has survived at the beginning of this millennium without incident, they now calibrate their end of times revelation clocks to a new date 21 12, 2012. This new revelation date coincides with the end of the calendar ancient Maya long account. The maya calendar that spans more than 5,000 years, ends on December 21, 2012.

The importance of the end of the Mayan calendar has been a growing number of books during the last months. He has even presented on several programs on the channel history as well. In General, there is a difference of opinion about what is happening on 21/12/2012. Some think it's a day for the destruction of planet Earth and human life. Others believe that we are a spiritual awakening unprecedented. Some predict a global financial crisis. For others, an asteroid is the harbinger of doom. New sites appear almost daily on the Internet to promote all these unfortunate results worldwide.

In addition, new books on the subject arrive every month in local bookstores. Journalist Lawrence Joseph forecasts widespread disaster in "Apocalypse 2012: A Scientific Investigation Into civilization End." Spiritual healer Andrew Smith predicted the restoration of a "true balance between Divine feminine and masculine" in "the revolution of 2012: Vol. 1, preparation". In 2012, Daniel Pinchbeck provides a "change in the nature of consciousness," assisted by knowledgeable native and psychedelic drug use. His book "2012: the return of Quetzalcoatl" has a circulation designed for selling over 40,000 copies.

The end of the Mayan calendar is said to coincide with a galactic alignment in which Sun will align with the Centre of the Milky Way Galaxy. It is said that this rare event occurs every 26,000 years, and some predict could have potentially catastrophic consequences. It is the theory that the day of the winter solstice in 2012, Sun will be aligned at the center of the milky way. This alignment could mean that energy which have generally rivers of the Earth from the Centre of the milky way is disturbed on 12/21/12 at 11: 11 am UTC.
Some people argue that this disturbance has the potential to create change in the Earth's poles, which would result in disastrous environmental events. It is also possible that effects change the magnetic polarity of the Sun. In combination with the gravitational forces of the alignment simultaneous to other planets, this result could cause massive solar flares and could even move the axis of the Earth.

It seems really bad, it is not? It is supposed to. Of course, this is all nonsense and hype. The ancient Mayan calendar ends but resets and starts again. The truth is that the Mayans gave up their original calendar for hundreds of years and use modern calendars now. The Maya discovered that modern calendars had better keep track of their vacation.

In fact, the Mayan calendar is not used by anyone today and is not relevant. There is no relationship at the end of the Mayan calendar and the end of time. The Sun approaching not the center of the milky way less than 5 degrees approximately and that happens not December 21, but December 18 and not only in 2012, but every year.

All stories, prophecies and science are fiction at the time of humbug. The hype of the date offers advertising to sell books, goods, survival equipment, and television. History Channel seems so desperate for spectators and the ratings that it has started at the end of the Mayan calendar hype for five years in advance. We have seen this already in the years preceding the start of this Millennium. Now we can expect it even once in the next few years leading to 21 12, 2012.

The formula for the end of the world doomsday prophecy is always the same. It comes from the ancient world. Its base encircles a certain date or time period in the future. There is always a special lighting beyond the advances of modern science on how things really work. Historically, there are waves coincidences embellished lead to believe that a solid base for these future doomsday prognostications. It is designed to play on our fear. The facts are created using smoke and mirrors. As any fraud, the true intention is to separate US dollars in our portfolios.

Of course, the reality is that the it should be an objective basis for us in the coming years. This goal is to survive hype Huckster of global apocalypse in the Mayan Calendar end December 21, 2012. Indeed, the revelation of the end of this century crowd returns with a new date of humbug. We send far in keeping our money out of their sight.

James William Smith has worked in management positions for some of the largest financial Services companies at United States twenty-five years. It also provided support and consulting firms to start-up companies and insurance agencies. It has always been interested in writing and to listen to different points of view on interesting topics.

End of The Days:December 2012 end of the World or another Day?

Everyone seems to be talking about December 21, 2012 date. Many people speculate that the world will come to a final cataclysmic that day. Others say that it is so-ated de-nada - life will be the same as any other day. There has been much written and much has been said on 21/12/2012. Why does such a buzz about this date? What is everything? December 21, 2012 it will bring about the end of the world, or will one day? This article attempts to answer these questions.

The ancient Maya of Mexico and Central American civilization was advanced in areas such as architecture, the arts, mathematics and science, including astronomy. Mayan astronomers developed incredibly timetable which stretched for thousands of years, ends abruptly in the date December 21, 2012. What this means is open to conjecture and Maya do not explain, but many people have concluded that this date will bring large change or the end of the world. Some believe that it is a great positive spiritual change of some kind, others believe it will be the start of a catastrophic if not apocalyptic event.

Believers in an apocalyptic end-of-world scenario predicts a number of possible events that could bring the end of the world. Some of the most notable capabilities include:

-Galactic alignment
-Comet or an asteroid collision with Earth
-Increase in solar activity
-Change of magnetic poles of the Earth
-The black hole of explosion
-De Gamma Ray
-Global nuclear or biological warfare
-Super volcano
-Heating
-Disease pandemic
-Cosmic rays
-Displacement of the Earth's crust
-Alien invasion
-Religious revelation

With all the predictions about 2012, many people are worried about the future. "How we plan for a catastrophic event," "what we can do to stop it?" and "how we can survive it?" are just some of the questions about this date. However, in spite of all speculation, uncertainty and questions unanswered, even the best educated minds not can predict with certainty what will happen. No one can not know really, they can at least human on Earth.

This author refers the reader to the Bible where Jesus answered the question about when was nearing the end. In the book of Matthew, chapter 24, verse 36, Jesus said, "but that day and hour no one knows, the angels of heaven, nor the son but only father." If we want to believe what the Bible says, and do many people, we can conclude that the Mayans and nobody could accurately predict the end of the world, because only God knows when. In fact, Jesus himself, who claimed to be the son of God, didn't even know.

While disaster scenarios and apocalyptic literature have always been popular fodder for a certain segment of the public, 2012 has drawn more than its fair share of attention. So much seems to center on a date that is rapidly approaching. This begs the question: "Why 2012," or, more precisely, why December 21, 2012?

There are two specific sources using actual dates – the Mayan Calendar and the prophecies of Nostradamus. These are the most quoted sources of the specific era and date. There is also an argument supporting the date existing within the Bible – or actually the Jewish Torah – the first five books of the Christian Bible. Early and later prophets do not stipulate the exact year. They do refer, however, to increasing activity in the late 20th and early 21st centuries.

Nostradamus is not exact in his timing. His prophecies stretch far into the future, including beyond 2012 to at least 2025.1 Some authors believe his prophecies actually extend as far as 3797. The exact dates concerning Nostradamus rely substantially upon the interpreter of his works. Nostradamus complicated matters for the reading public (This was a necessity - to protect himself from prosecution) by writing in quatrain verse form.

This is not the first example of creating deliberate confusion. It is an age-old problem with prophets and prophecies. As far back as the ancient Greeks, the famed Pythoness spoke in riddles, as did the fabled Sybil.

1 P. Lorie. Nostradamus 2003-2025. A History of the Future (New York, 2002); and M. Rutherford. The Nostradamus Code. World War III, 2007-2012 (New York, 2006).
2 C. Barrios. The Book of Destiny. Unlocking the Secrets of the Ancient Mayans and the Prophecy of 2012 (New York, 2009), 97-99.

3 G. Braden. Fractal Time: The Secret of 2012 and a New World Age (Carlsbad, California, 2009).

To further complicate the issue, the author Carlos Barrios makes an interesting claim. It indirectly ties the seer Nostradamus to the Mayans. According to Barrios, Nostradamus knew about Mayan forms of divination. He acquired them through working with a doctor, Ulrico de Maguncia (or Ulrich von Maguncen), who had lived and studied the Mayan way of life. Unlike other invaders, he willingly became familiar with their culture.

This had occurred when de Maguncia arrived with the Spanish Conquistadores. He first came into contact with the Mayans in Chichén Itzá, Mexico.2 He disappeared with some ambassadors into the jungle. Maguncia did not emerge until after 14 years had passed. It was then that he returned to Europe, where he met and taught, among others, Nostradamus.

According to The Bible Code, the year 2012 is a prominent one. Michael Drosnin, the author, specifically notes the date as being significant. He decodes the Jewish Torah to discover the Hebrew year 5772 (our year 2012) to coincide with the Mayan calendar end date. It is a theory supported by others.

This includes author Gregg Braden. His book, Fractal Time: The Secret of 2012 and a New World Age3, explores the various theories on 2012 and discusses the specific choice of date.

Yet, it is only the Aztecs and the Mayans who are definitive in the date of 2012. The Mayan calendar, which the Aztecs also closely adhered to, is specific. The year 2012 is when the current calendar system comes to an end. What this means will come under discussion in later chapters. What also requires exploration is the choice of the exact date found only in the Mayan and Aztec calendars: December 21, 2012.

The winter solstice is a significant time of the year for those who follow a seasonal calendar.4 In the Northern Hemisphere, including Europe, this is the shortest day of the year. It is a time of imbalance. It is a time when the male gods are in charge of the hunt.

The winter solstice in the Northern Hemisphere also marks the return of the sun. It is the beginning of the lengthy journey back towards longer days and shorter nights. With the start of the Winter Solstice, the sun and the planet take the first steps on the journey from darkness to light. The next high point of this journey is the Summer Equinox when the days and the nights are equal.

While the authors make much of the choice of December 21, 2012, little is made mention of the obvious difference between the two hemispheres concerning this date. On continents such as South America and Australia, it is summer not winter. The shortest day for them comes in June, not in December. In December, Australia and other southern climates are enjoying the longest day on December 21.

This still makes it a Winter Solstice, but the implications are different depending upon where you live. In the Southern Hemisphere, the planet is on its journey into the dark half of the year; in the Northern Hemisphere, the world is spinning towards light.

What marks the two types of solstice, and is worth due consideration, is the movement of the planet towards a time of balance. This, as many modern and ancient prophets note, is the ultimate result of the 2012 period. While doomsayers declare it to be the "End of The World," many declare this not to be so. The Winter Solstice merely indicates change. It may be sometimes violent, but the ultimate result is for the best, as it means balance and harmony.

Winter Solstice

The Winter Solstice becomes a symbol of the ongoing change that is typical of the natural world. It is seasonal movement from one phase of life into another one proceeding gradually like Mother Earth. The Mayan date chosen to mark the end of the Mayan Calendar reflects perfectly the concept of gradual shifting and a time of change. As is the case of nature, December 21 can be violent or pastoral in its passage from 2012 into 2013 and beyond.
